コスパ
Kosupa
こすぱ
Short for コストパフォーマンス (cost performance), meaning how much value you get for the price. コスパがいい (kosupa ga ii = good cospa) is the most common usage, meaning something is a great deal or worth the money. Used for restaurants, electronics, services — pretty much anything you spend money on. Extremely common in daily conversation. For something with outstanding value, people say コスパ最強 (kosupa saikyou = ultimate cospa). Recently, タイパ (taipa = time performance, how well you spend your time) has also emerged as a related concept.
